Born New Orleans, Louisiana, admitted to bar, 2004, Louisiana.
Sutherland was appointed by Governor Kathleen Blanco as a Commissioner on the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection
Authority-East (formerly Boards of Commissioners of Orleans, East Jefferson and Lake Borne Basin Levee Districts), where she
served as Vice President and Chair of the Legal and Legislative Committee.

Engaged in real estate transactions, including land disputes, expropriation
and quick take proceedings, contracts pertaining to the sale and lease of property, rights of way and easements, title examination
and real estate closings; Ms. Sutherland is experienced with drafting concession and construction contracts for the New Orleans
Aviation Board, providing legal research and opinions on issues involving ethics, public utilities, state and local civil
service, Board liability, policies, procedure and rules of order, federal, state and local bid law, procurement, and open
meetings law;
